Wet your hair and scalp thoroughly with lukewarm water to remove initial surface dirt. Take 2 to 3 pumps of the shampoo into the palm of your hand. Add a small splash of warm water and rub your hands together to build a rich, creamy lather before applying it to your hair. Apply the foam to your wet hair and gently massage your scalp using your fingertips. Focus primarily on the roots to dissolve excess oils. Wash the suds out completely with clean, warm water. If you use heavy styling products or have a very oily scalp, you can repeat the wash a second time.
